01

Multi-face access

Reach angled features and deep surfaces without repeated manual re-fixturing.

Improved feature access

02

Coordinated motion

Match axis strategy to the feature, surface and tool access required.

Motion matched to geometry

03

Setup reduction

Protect relationships between critical datums and shorten the handoff to inspection.

Critical relationships protected

Multi-Axis CNC Machining FAQ

When should I consider multi-axis CNC machining?

Consider it when a part has multi-face, angled, deep-access or combined turning and milling requirements. Send the model and drawing so we can review the practical axis strategy.

What is the difference between 3+2 and simultaneous 5-axis?

3+2 positions the part before stable indexed cutting, while simultaneous 5-axis coordinates rotary and linear motion during cutting.

Can you combine turning and milling in one process?

Yes, when turn-mill equipment improves feature alignment or reduces handling. The best route is confirmed during RFQ review.

What materials can you machine?

We machine aluminum, stainless steel, alloy and carbon steel, copper and brass, and engineering plastics.

Can you provide CMM inspection reports?

Yes. CMM reports and other agreed quality documents are available when requested in the RFQ.

What files are needed for a multi-axis quote?

Send the current 3D model and technical drawing with material, quantity and critical inspection requirements.

Have a Multi-Axis Part to Machine?

Send the model and drawing. We will review feature access, setup strategy, quantity and inspection requirements before quoting.
