Metal Welding FAQ

What welding processes can you support?

MIG, TIG, spot and project-specific welding routes can be reviewed, with robotic options evaluated where suitable. The joint, material, access and production requirements determine the proposed process.

What metals and thicknesses can you weld?

Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel and selected alloys can be reviewed. Thickness capability and preparation requirements are confirmed against the joint and welding process.

Can you weld frames, enclosures and complete assemblies?

Frames, enclosures and fabricated assemblies can be evaluated as coordinated cutting, forming and welding projects. Send the assembly model, joint details and critical interfaces so the complete route can be planned.

How do you control distortion and assembly fit?

Fixture references, fit-up, heat input and weld sequence are planned around the critical interfaces. Dimensional and fit checks verify the assembly before finishing or release.

Can you provide NDT and weld documentation?

Weld procedure records and NDT reports can be included when agreed in the inspection scope. Specify applicable standards, acceptance criteria and required documentation with the drawing.

What information is needed to quote a welded assembly?

Send the model, assembly drawing, material, thickness, joint details, quantity and inspection requirements. Include any cosmetic, post-weld machining and finishing requirements for route review.

Have a Welded Assembly to Build?

Send the model or drawing with material, thickness, quantity and inspection requirements. We will review joint access, fixture strategy and finishing before quoting.
