Hot forging, cold forging and heading routes can be compared against the application, geometry, alloy and volume. Share load cases, critical interfaces and the finished drawing so tooling and secondary operations can be reviewed together.
Carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and titanium alloys can be reviewed. Part size and starting section are confirmed against the selected process, material and tooling envelope.
Prototype forgings can be evaluated to validate the route, tooling concept and machining allowance before batch production. Send the model, drawing and quantity to confirm a practical first-article plan.
CNC machining can be coordinated after forging to finish datums, bores, threads and other critical interfaces. Provide the finished drawing so machining stock, treatment sequence and inspection access can be planned.
Material traceability, heat-treatment certificates and NDT reports can be included when agreed in the project scope. Specify standards, acceptance criteria and required records with the RFQ.
Send the model, drawing, material grade, load case or application details, quantity and inspection requirements. Include secondary operations, treatment and finish requirements to define the complete manufacturing route.
Send the model, drawing, alloy, quantity and application details. We will review the forging route, tooling, secondary operations and inspection plan before quoting.
